Grubb & Ellis Company Facilitates 63,000 SF of Renewals at Gateway Business Park

Grubb & Ellis Company (02/16/2010) - MARLTON, N.J. -Feb. 9, 2010 - Grubb & Ellis Company (NYSE: GBE), a leading real estate services and investment firm, today announced that it represented Gateway Park LLC in the long-term lease renewal of three tenants totaling 63,000 SF at Gateway Business Park in Mount Laurel.

Anne Klein, senior vice president, Office Group, facilitated the transactions at the complex, located at Fellowship Road and Gaither Drive.

Pasadena, Calif.-based Jacobs Engineering, an engineering services provider to industrial, commercial and government clients, renewed its lease of 36,000 SF. The company has been at Gateway Business Park since 2003.

Surgical Center of South Jersey, a multi-specialty surgical center serving patients and physicians in the Mt. Laurel and surrounding areas, renewed its lease of 17,000 SF. It has been a tenant at the park since the center was founded in 1987.

Acteon, a manufacturer of electronic dental equipment based in France, renewed its lease of 9,886 SF. The company has been in its current location since 2006.

"These renewals speak to the quality of the park, its proximity to major interstates and the talented labor pool in the vicinity," said Klein. "Retaining these quality tenants in such a challenging market is a big success for Gateway Business Park."

Gateway Business Park is an eight-building complex totaling more than 500,000 SF, situated in a campus setting. The park offers easy access to Route 73, I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as hotels, restaurants and more than 1 million SF of retail at the Moorestown Mall and East Gate Square. Gateway Business Park currently has 50,000 square feet available for lease.
